Alien Design

Well, here it is.
Let me know if you've got suggestions (bearing in mind I am not a *great* artist) especially on colour.
what colour skin, what colour clothes etc




The visor (in an ideal scenario) would open and shut like a biker helmet visor... well, more like the inner sunshade of a biker helmet.
This could be used as a game mechanic; throw something at/hit it's helmet, the visor comes down and the alien is temporarily blinded.
I'm in no way expecting that to be implemented.

And yes, it has 2 fingers and a thumb.
I'm also aware that the orthographic is a bit ropey in some areas. Whoever gets the task of modelling it I'm terribly sorry

removed the visor and added a breathing mask.




At Rob's (good) suggestion, i've been looking at the colours from viewtiful joe.







what d'yall think?

The first version looks like Commander Keen with Shrek ears, a little too cuddly to be an enemy. And the second version looks like the same with a gas mask.

As a suggestion how about Stone Trek? It's basically the Flintstones in space, so you get Hanna Barbara style artwork with a (semi-)serious sci-fi setting.
