Can the exported MD5MESH and MD5ANIM files for the player character be posted as a reply to this post please, the MD5MESH needs to be called player and the MD5ANIMS need to be called idle and walk, can we get these be the end of today (wednesday) please so we have enough time to try and get them working

Thanks

There is no working MD5 exporter for maya currently avalible, I've tried everything I can find. If you've found anything I've missed please tell me.

Ok, I've no idea if this even works, but it's the MD5 file for the idle animation for the character. This is raw out of Maya and in the only format that works. By all means have a look at it. But nothing else works.

The only thing i can suggest is trying to find someone (ANYONE!) that has maya 6 instead of 8 as there are export tools for that. If someone can ask around that might be te only thing we can do now

Animated character model Empty Um no

Tried exporting the models out as an FBX in max ab No luck. Goin backwards with maya's gunna cause a load of problems, I should have maya 6 avalible tomorra but it might mean redoing the animations again even if its just a run cycle for both the characters at the very least it could give us a demo to show. It's not ideal but there really isnt enough time if we cant export it by tommora and if we can get stuff in trough maya 6 it might really be are best chace. Its either that or do the animations in Max folling along with the tutorials that were posted.

If that's what it takes I guess. My computer packed up last night (with my essay on it) so that's going to be a hassle if animations need re doing.
